How electromagnetic fields are used to measure fluid flow

Well, magnets and electricity, to be exact. As is the case with a liquid flowing in a pipe, the liquid creates a magnetic field. The electromagnetic flow meter employs this magnetic field to determine how quickly the liquid is flowing. It’s a bit like magic except instead of magic, it’s science!
